Editorial Review:The DM-126D is an internal type, 5.25-inch, half-height, IDE/ATAPI interface DVD-ROM drive. The drive adopts the technology of full Constant Angular Velocity (CAV) with maximum data transfer rate of 16.62 MB/sec (12X) for DVD-ROM and 6.0 MB/sec (40X) for CD-ROM. The DM-126D utilizes the lead screw type traverse mechanism and sled photo encoder in order to improve seek time to around 100 ms for DVD-ROM and 90 ms for CD-ROM, also reduce acoustic seeking noise.
