The Mach48 writes to CD-R at 48x speed, writes to high-speed CD-RW at 12x speeds, and reads CD-ROMs at 48x speeds. To improve reliability and performance, the Pacific Digital 48×12x48 Mach48 CD-RW drive is equipped with SMART-BURN buffer underrun technology, which automatically checks media quality to ensure a successful writing session and data reliability.
